If your oven is more than a couple of decades old, a renovation is a good time to swap it. We handle oven installation in Mount Waverley kitchens, from wall ovens to freestanding models.
Mount Waverley 3149
Mount Waverley owners tend to put money into the kitchen, and the oven is usually one of the big purchases. A wall oven at eye level is popular in these homes, partly because it saves bending and partly because the layouts allow it. That position needs a hidden connection and a circuit sized for the oven. If you are moving the oven, the cable will need a new path from the board. A freestanding oven is simpler, though we still check the switch, the cable and the circuit. In some original kitchens, the old oven circuit also feeds other appliances, and sharing is no longer a good idea. We install the new oven, test it and explain the controls on the switch. A broken oven is a job for an appliance technician, and we step in for the swap when the new unit arrives.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main ovens page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Mount Waverley.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Steve and Jason did an excellent job from start to finish. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and explained everything clearly along the way. Their workmanship was top-notch and they made sure everything was safe, neat, and tidy before leaving. Both of them were friendly, professional, and easy to deal with, which made the whole experience stress-free.”

Sometimes. If the existing circuit and cable suit the new oven and are in good condition, we can reuse them. If the new model draws more power or the circuit is shared, we will recommend a new one.
