Oven installation in Burwood is common when a rental is refreshed or a family kitchen gets an upgrade. We wire the new oven onto a safe circuit and test it before we leave.
Burwood 3125
The oven you are replacing tells us a lot. If it is a 1960s freestanding unit in a rental, its connection might be a heavy cable into a wall switch that has not changed in decades. We check that the cable is in good condition and that the breaker suits the new oven's rating. Landlords want it tidy, tenants want it working, and we want both without callbacks. In owner-occupied homes, a new wall oven often comes with joinery, so the connection point has to sit inside the cabinetry. Townhouses tend to be straightforward, but we still confirm the circuit rating, because a larger oven can need a bigger one. We install only, and a failing oven goes back to its manufacturer for service. Afterwards, we label the circuit at the board.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main ovens page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Burwood.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Steve and Jason did an excellent job from start to finish. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and explained everything clearly along the way. Their workmanship was top-notch and they made sure everything was safe, neat, and tidy before leaving. Both of them were friendly, professional, and easy to deal with, which made the whole experience stress-free.”

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Usually yes. If the existing oven circuit is sound and suits the new oven, we connect it and test it. If the cable or breaker is too light, we will recommend replacing that one circuit, not the whole kitchen.
