Brighton homes
Brighton has some of Melbourne's grandest housing. There are Victorian and Edwardian mansions, interwar homes on wide blocks, and many large contemporary rebuilds, plus low-rise luxury apartments close to Church Street and the beach. Many streets sit under heritage overlays, so we keep visible external work discreet and run cables carefully through period homes. Bigger houses bring bigger electrical demands. Pool pumps, heating, multiple ovens, garden lighting and two EV chargers can push even a newer switchboard to its limit. It depends on your board and supply. Pools, heating and EV chargers are all heavy loads, and together they can overload a board that was fine five years ago. We check the board and the incoming supply, then suggest an upgrade, a sub-board or load management for the charger if needed.
