Split-level homes make odd places for furniture and even odder places for outlets. Our powerpoint installation adds extra powerpoints across Mount Waverley's different floor levels.

Mount Waverley's 1960s and 1970s houses are often split-level, with a few steps between the living area, the bedrooms and the garage. Each level was wired as its own little zone, and the outlets rarely match how people use the rooms now. We might add a double powerpoint beside the lounge sofa, USB-C outlets in the bedrooms and extra GPOs along the kitchen bench where the coffee machine, toaster and blender live. Longer homes on big blocks also tend to need power outside: an outdoor powerpoint for the barbecue area, or a weatherproof outlet in the shed for tools. Cable has further to travel in these houses, and a split-level layout means thinking about how to get from one level to another without cutting into brick. We map the runs first, then place the outlets so the new work looks as if it was always there.
