Swapping an oven in a Port Melbourne townhouse is quick when the circuit is right. Our oven installation in Port Melbourne covers wall ovens and freestanding ovens, installs only.
Port Melbourne 3207
Townhouse and apartment kitchens here are often compact, with joinery cut to the millimetre. A wall oven has to fit the cavity and the connection must land inside or beside it without fouling the cabinet. We check the existing cable and its protection before the old unit comes out. In an older cottage, the oven may sit on a circuit shared with other items, and that is worth fixing while we are there. A freestanding unit needs a suitable wall outlet or connection point, and we will tell you if the existing one is not up to the task. We keep benchtops and splashbacks clean during the work, since a damaged stone benchtop is expensive to fix. When we finish, we test the oven and show you the isolating switch. Repairs are outside our scope, so contact the manufacturer for any fault in the unit. Oven installation in Port Melbourne comes down to the fit and the connection.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main ovens page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Port Melbourne.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Often yes, if the new oven matches the cavity size. We check the dimensions and where the connection sits before the old oven comes out. If the connection needs moving to suit, we sort that during the install.
