Carnegie homes
Carnegie has interwar and post-war houses on its quieter streets, but it is best known for its many 1960s and 70s walk-up flats and a steady wave of newer apartment buildings near Koornang Road and the station. That makes it a suburb of owners corporations, small apartments and plenty of first-home buyers. Older flats usually have very few powerpoints and basic lighting. Newer buildings have secure car parks, where EV charging is becoming a common request. For any work touching shared areas we check approval needs first, then get on with the job tidily so neighbours are not disturbed.
