Caulfield South homes
Caulfield South is largely interwar and post-war, with brick bungalows, solid family homes and 1960s units, plus a growing number of townhouses where older houses have been subdivided. The older homes often have boards from decades ago that were never designed for air conditioning, modern ovens and multiple appliances running at once. Owners of new townhouses tend to want extra lighting and outlets added after moving in. We see a lot of upgrade work here: boards, cooling circuits and kitchens. Our approach is to sort the board out first, so the rest of the house can take on new loads without nuisance tripping.

Usually the circuits are overloaded or share protection on an older board. We test the load, check how circuits are split and look at the board. Often a board upgrade and dedicated circuits for cooling and cooking stop the tripping for good.
