Powerpoint installation
in Caulfield South.

Walk through an interwar brick house and count the outlets. Most rooms have one or two, placed for a lamp and a radiogram. Today the same room needs phones, laptops, a TV and a heater. The 1960s units off Hawthorn Road are similar, with a single double GPO on some walls. Running new cable through brick takes planning, so we look at roof space, under-floor access and existing chases before we quote. We can add a double powerpoint beside the bed, a USB-C outlet in the kitchen or an outdoor powerpoint for the back verandah. In subdivided townhouses, the builder's layout often misses the spots where furniture really goes, and we fill those gaps. Before we add circuits, we glance at the board too, so the new outlets do not cause nuisance tripping.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Caulfield South.
