A 1950s kitchen was built around a stove with a simple power supply. Modern wall ovens draw more and expect a properly sized circuit with a safety switch behind it. When we arrive, we look at the existing cable and breaker. Sometimes it is fine. Sometimes the cable is too light, the connection is old or the board has no space for a new breaker. We fix what needs fixing, then fit the oven. For a wall oven, we check the cabinet cutout against the specs. For a freestanding oven, we make sure a suitable connection point sits within reach. We do not repair ovens, and we only install the one you have already bought. If you are also planning to move to an induction cooktop, tell us. A combined plan saves ripping up the same wall twice.
