South Melbourne homes
South Melbourne, the old Emerald Hill, has Victorian workers' cottages and terraces, a strong heritage core, and plenty of former warehouses and factories converted into homes and offices. Newer apartment buildings rise towards the city edges. Cottages often have tiny boards and very old circuits, while warehouse conversions can have long cable runs, high ceilings and sometimes three-phase supply. Shops and offices along Clarendon Street and around the market need work done with minimal disruption to trading. We are comfortable moving between a single-fronted cottage in the morning and a fit-out in the afternoon, and we plan every job around access, parking and the building's history.
