Powerpoint installation
in South Melbourne.

Count the outlets in the main bedroom of a single-fronted cottage off Park Street. Often there is one, hiding behind the bed, with a double adaptor feeding a phone charger, a lamp and a heater. Brick walls and old plaster make extra points awkward, so we plan each cable run before we cut anything. Where we can, we fish cable through the roof space or under the floor, which keeps patching small. A converted warehouse flips the problem. High ceilings and long walls mean the nearest circuit can be a fair way off, so we check load and cable size first. Extra powerpoints can also go on a courtyard wall or balcony with a weatherproof cover. We test every circuit we touch and show you the safety switch working. If you want a USB-C outlet at the kitchen bench or beside the bed, tell us on the day. That is why extra powerpoints in South Melbourne are rarely a quick plug-and-play job.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician South Melbourne.
