A brick-veneer kitchen from the sixties was planned around a gas hob and a freestanding stove, with little spare capacity. Induction needs its own dedicated circuit back to the board, and it's the part people don't expect. We run that circuit, connect the cooktop and make sure the board has the room to take it. Many families here have already renovated the kitchen and kept the gas hob out of habit. Others are reworking a kitchen as part of a rear extension, when cabling is easiest to hide. If you're moving from gas to induction, we can also talk through the gas capping so you know who to call for that side. Check your pans first. A magnet should stick to the base, or they won't heat.
