Induction cooktop installation in Caulfield East is a popular swap in rentals and apartments that are going gas-free. We run a dedicated circuit and fit the cooktop neatly.
Caulfield East 3145
Small apartment kitchens are the perfect candidate for induction. Benchtops are compact, ventilation is limited and a cooktop that heats only the pan keeps the room cooler. The catch is power. A standard flat circuit rarely suits an induction cooktop, so we run a dedicated circuit back to the board. In older flats that can mean checking the board has space and a safety switch first. In buildings with gas supply, a plumber caps the line and we handle the electrical side. We check the cutout in your benchtop against the new cooktop before install day. Owners and agents need to approve changes in rentals, and strata buildings sometimes have rules on shared services, so we raise those early. When the job finishes, the cooktop is tested and explained.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main induction cooktops page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Caulfield East.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Yes, as long as the board can take a dedicated circuit and the benchtop cutout suits the new cooktop. A plumber caps the gas. We handle the wiring and the install, and we check with the owner or strata first.
