Powerpoint installation
in Caulfield North.

Federation and Edwardian houses here come with big rooms and long walls, and owners often want outlets for a home office, a games room or a sleep-out. Garages and outbuildings are common, and a powerpoint out there means running cable from the main board across the yard. Long runs lose voltage, so we size the cable for the distance and use underground conduit where it is needed. We also check the board has a spare circuit. Outdoor points near the pool, patio or barbecue need weatherproof covers and safety switch protection. Inside, double powerpoints and USB-C outlets suit kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces. In the 1960s flats along Balaclava Road and Inkerman Road, rooms are small and outlets few, so we focus on adding points behind furniture and beside beds. We test every new circuit before we leave. Extra powerpoints in Caulfield North often mean outbuildings as well as rooms.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Caulfield North.
