Clinker-brick bungalows were wired for a different era of gadgets. Our powerpoint installation in Caulfield adds double powerpoints, USB-C outlets and outdoor points to match how you live now.
Caulfield 3162
Walk through a Caulfield bungalow and you will see the pattern: a few outlets in each of the original rooms and a lot more in the extension at the back. Clinker brick and solid walls make adding outlets harder than in a newer home, so we plan the route before we start. Often the best path is via the ceiling cavity and down inside the wall. Before connecting anything we test the existing circuit, as the original wiring in the front half may be old, and rubber cable can be brittle. If a circuit is not sound, we run a fresh one. Outdoor powerpoints on the verandah or by the garage are useful for lights and tools, and we fit weatherproof covers. If you work from home in a spare front room, a few extra points behind the desk make a big difference. We test everything before we leave. Powerpoint installation in Caulfield begins with testing what is already there.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Caulfield.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Arrived within 20 minutes of me calling and explaining that half my property's powerpoints were inactive, promptly worked out and explained the issue to me, and had it completely resolved same day. High quality and clean work, could not be happier!”

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Only after testing. Older circuits may have brittle insulation or not enough protection. We test first. If the circuit is sound we can extend it. If not, we run a new circuit and explain why.
