Switchboard upgrades
in Armadale.

Many renovated homes here show the same pattern. The back half is brand new, with underfloor heating in the bathrooms, an induction cooktop in the kitchen and a split system in the family room. The front half is still on a board that dates from before any of that. When the new loads switch on together, the old board strains. We design the new board around the finished house, with circuit breakers, safety switches and spare space for future circuits. We prefer to be involved before the builder closes the walls, as it is far easier to run cables while walls are open. In period homes, board position matters too. We can often keep the meter box where it is and replace the board inside, which avoids disturbing the facade on heritage streets. Every circuit gets a label and a test.
