Chadstone is known for its shopping centre, but the streets behind it are full of post-war homes and new townhouses. That is where most of our work in the suburb happens.
Chadstone homes
Away from the shopping centre, Chadstone is mostly 1950s and 1960s brick veneer and weatherboard houses, some built as public housing, on decent-sized blocks. Many have been replaced by pairs of townhouses or small unit developments. The original homes usually have a basic switchboard, few powerpoints and simple batten lighting, so even modest upgrades make a big difference. New townhouses are often finished with minimal power and lighting, so owners call us to add what is missing. Kitchen updates, including new ovens, are common in both. We are happy to tackle a single job or plan a set of upgrades in stages if that suits.

In most cases, yes. LED downlights use far less power than old globes and give better light. In post-war homes we check the existing wiring at the same time, since lighting circuits from that era may need attention. We plan the layout with you so each room is lit properly, not just brighter.
