Switchboard upgrades
in Chadstone.

Chadstone's original homes were built when a household ran a kettle, a few lights and a washing machine. Plenty still have the board from that time, sometimes with ceramic fuses and no residual current protection at all. Add a split system, a new oven and a few more outlets and that old fuse box is carrying a load it was never meant for. Some of the public housing era homes also changed hands and were renovated piece by piece, which leaves a mix of old and newer wiring behind one panel. We assess what is there, replace it with a new board that includes RCD safety switches, label every circuit clearly and test the lot before we leave. You get a board that trips when it should and tells you which circuit has the problem, which is far safer than a fuse wired up by a previous owner.
