In an older house that sometimes means running new cable through the roof or under the floor to the kitchen bench. If you are renovating, the cut-out in the benchtop and the cable position should be settled before the stone goes in, so talk to us early. The cooktop itself fits flush, and we connect it, test it and show you the isolating switch. Gas disconnection is a separate licensed trade, and your kitchen installer can usually coordinate it. We handle the electrical side so the new cooktop is safe and ready to use.
