Chadstone's brick veneer homes soak up summer heat. We wire split system installation properly, with a dedicated circuit and an isolator, and hang ceiling fans too.
Chadstone 3148
A split system is only as good as its wiring. Your installer mounts the indoor and outdoor units, and we provide the circuit back to the board, an isolator beside the outdoor unit and the final connection. In Chadstone, where many original boards are small, adding a heavy appliance can push an old board over the edge, so we check capacity before anything is installed. Houses with roof space access make the cable run simple, while a townhouse with a sealed ceiling and a courtyard needs more thought about where the outdoor unit and its isolator will sit. Ceiling fans are a lighter job, but they still need a suitable fan-rated mounting and a proper switch. A fan in a bedroom with a split system can take the edge off without running the compressor all night. We will tell you what your home needs.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Chadstone.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
In most cases, yes. Split systems typically need a dedicated circuit with its own breaker and an isolator near the outdoor unit. We check the manufacturer's requirements and your board's capacity, then do the electrical work so your installer can finish the job.
