Cooling a bungalow starts with the wiring. We cover split system installation (electrical) for McKinnon bungalows, plus ceiling fans, with neat cable runs from the roof space.
McKinnon 3204
Summer afternoons test any bungalow. We do the electrical side of cooling: a dedicated circuit from the board, an isolator beside the outdoor unit and the connection to the indoor unit. The installer you choose handles the refrigerant work. In McKinnon, the roof space is usually accessible, so cable runs stay hidden. Ceiling fans are a great fit for living rooms and bedrooms with decent ceiling height, and we choose a position clear of lights and beams, then wire a wall control. If the switchboard is still on old fuses, we will suggest an upgrade before adding a big new load. Units near the station may need body corporate approval for outdoor unit positions, which is worth asking early. Either way, we leave the wiring neat and clearly labelled.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician McKinnon.
Good work. Happy locals.

A fan needs a secure fixing point, not just the plaster. We check the ceiling structure from the roof space and use a proper mounting brace where needed. If the ceiling height is low, we will tell you before fitting.
