LED downlights and lighting

Single-fronted homes and terraces here are long and narrow, with a dark middle section between the front rooms and the back extension. Lighting is how you fix that. We plan LED downlights in a line through the hall, dimmers so the mood shifts as the day does, and pendants over the new kitchen bench. In rear extensions with high ceilings or skylights, we can add feature lighting that suits the larger space. Roof spaces above older rooms are tight and often hold old cable, so we check before cutting. Out the back, garden lighting turns a courtyard into a second living room. Near Beaconsfield Parade and Middle Park Beach, outdoor fittings should cope with salt air, so we choose sealed or marine-rated ones.
