A new oven in a Malvern family kitchen should not trip the board when the roast goes in. Our oven installation puts it on the right circuit.
Malvern 3144
Plenty of Malvern kitchens have been renovated twice, which leaves the oven wiring somewhere between eras. A 1970s extension might have run one cable for the cooktop and oven together, and a later update added a dishwasher on top. We sort through that. For a wall oven, we check the cavity size, the supply point and the breaker rating. For a freestanding oven, we test the cooker outlet and confirm the cable can take the load. If the oven shares a circuit with something else, we separate them. Families who cook for a crowd, or run an oven and a dishwasher at once, notice the difference. Malvern's older homes often have a switchboard that struggles, so we mention it if the oven pushes it too far. We install ovens only. If your old oven has failed, an appliance repairer has to check it first.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main ovens page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Malvern.
Good work. Happy locals.

Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
They are probably on the same circuit, or the circuit is overloaded. We check what each appliance draws and separate them onto their own circuits where needed. If the switchboard has no spare ways, we suggest an upgrade. Either way, we explain what we find.
