Period rooms rarely come with enough power, and Hughesdale's interwar brick bungalows are no exception. A lounge with picture rails and a leadlight window might still have a single outlet beside the fireplace. We add GPOs at skirting height in positions that match your furniture, run cable through the roof or sub-floor, and keep any wall damage small. Newer townhouses near the station have the opposite issue, with outlets in bland positions that do not suit modern kitchens. A double powerpoint at the bench, an outlet inside the pantry for the coffee machine and a weatherproof one on the back deck are typical jobs. Hughesdale homes with partial updates over the years often have mixed circuits, so we test each one first. Where a circuit is already busy, we give the new outlets their own.
