Large Victorian and Edwardian houses off Cotham Road were built with generous rooms and very few outlets. A ballroom-sized living space might have two. Then there are the outbuildings. A garage, a studio or a pool house wired as an afterthought may hold a single outlet on a lightweight cable. We plan extra powerpoints in Kew around how each space is really used: a bank of GPOs for a home office, USB-C outlets at kitchen benches, an outdoor powerpoint on the terrace for entertaining.
