Powerpoint installation
in Alphington.

Alphington's Edwardian, Federation and interwar houses usually sit on bigger blocks than inner-city homes, and that changes what people ask for. The backyard becomes part of the house: a workshop, a studio, a pergola, a pool pump. An outdoor powerpoint on a weatherproof circuit with a safety switch is the safe way to power tools and lights out there. Where a separate structure sits some distance from the house, we run a protected cable underground in conduit to a small sub-board. Inside, bungalows with plenty of room often have only one outlet per wall. We add double powerpoints and USB-C outlets where people actually sit. In the newer townhouses and apartments near Heidelberg Road, owners usually want extra outlets in the living area and study, which we can add neatly. Each addition is checked against the circuit that serves it.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Alphington.
