Powerpoint installation
in Abbotsford.

Original cottage wiring was planned around one lamp and one radiator per room. Now every wall wants a phone charger, a laptop and a heater. In a narrow terrace the cable run is usually the tricky part, so we look at the roof space, the subfloor and the back extension before deciding where new cable travels. Where the old plaster is worth keeping, we chase carefully and patch neatly instead of opening up walls. In the converted warehouses around Johnston Street, high ceilings and exposed services mean surface conduit is sometimes the tidier answer, and we'll tell you honestly which suits the room. We can swap a worn single GPO for a double, fit an outdoor powerpoint for the courtyard, or add extra powerpoints along a kitchen bench. Before adding anything, we check the circuit can carry it, because more outlets on an overloaded circuit only move the problem.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Abbotsford.
