Powerpoint installation in South Yarra often starts with one question: why is there only a single GPO behind the couch? We add outlets where you actually live, in flats and period houses alike.
South Yarra 3141
The 1960s and 70s walk-ups were built when a lounge room needed two outlets and a heater. Now it needs a desk, a TV, chargers and a lamp. Each flat has limited capacity on a small shared meter panel, so we check what the circuit already carries before we add anything. A Victorian terrace is a different puzzle. Solid brick and old lath and plaster walls mean we plan the cable route first, so the plaster survives. Where it suits, we fit a double powerpoint with USB-C so the chargers stop hogging the wall. Plenty of people near Fawkner Park also ask about extra powerpoints for a courtyard or balcony. An outdoor powerpoint needs weatherproof fittings and safety-switch protection, and we supply both. If you rent, we will tell you what your landlord or body corporate has to approve first.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician South Yarra.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Called Steve for a job in South Yarra and was extremely pleased with his services, from coming in early for just a quote and then coming back for the job, even though it was last minute, he managed to get it done before time! Excellent communication and always on time! He did more than what I expected and was super efficient along with his colleague! No time wasted and left the place clean and organised before they left!”

“Steven provided a good and accurate quote over the phone and the job came in on price. Contacted about arrival time the night before and showed up when expected. The outdoor power point was installed within 20 minutes and the job was finished and cleaned well. Nice to deal with and enjoyed our dog coming by to check out what was going on.”

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Often yes. We check what your flat's circuit is already carrying and add outlets within its capacity. If the load is too high, we say so and suggest a separate circuit instead. Anything touching common property needs body corporate approval, which we can help you ask for.
