Older Oakleigh houses and shops can be difficult to heat and cool evenly. We provide split system installation (electrical), plus ceiling fan installation where it makes sense.
Oakleigh 3166
High ceilings and drafty floors are hard on comfort in Oakleigh's Victorian and Edwardian homes. A split system in the living area helps, as do ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We take care of the electrical side: a feed from the board, an isolator near the outdoor unit and the connection, while your air conditioning installer handles refrigerant and mounting. Old boards often lack spare ways, so we check that first. Shops and cafes may need more than one unit, which means checking the total load. Apartments near the station bring body corporate rules about outdoor units and cable routes, and we sort those details out with you early. For ceiling fans, we check the fixing and use the right rod length for the height.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Oakleigh.
Good work. Happy locals.

Probably, once the board is checked. A split system must have a protected circuit of its own. If the board has no space or is outdated, we upgrade it as part of the job. We inspect it first and tell you what is needed.
