Split system and ceiling fan electrical
in Hawthorn East.

Big open-plan rooms at the back of older houses collect heat in summer and are hard to cool from a single wall unit. Some owners choose a ceiling fan to move air, others add a split system. We do the electrical side of both. For fans, we check the ceiling structure can carry the weight and match the downrod to the ceiling height. For split systems, we supply the circuit, put an isolator beside the outdoor unit and wire the connection, while your installer handles refrigerant and mounting. Original boards in Hawthorn East often cannot take another circuit, so we check first, and upgrade the board if required. In walk-up flats, the common meter area limits spare capacity, which we factor into the plan. We agree the isolator position with your installer so everything lines up on the day.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Hawthorn East.
