A big house might have a ducted system for the main living area and extra splits in the bedrooms, the study or a pool house. We don't supply the units. We install the circuits, the isolators and the final connections for your air conditioning installer. In houses with older boards, the first step is checking whether there's spare capacity, since ducted systems pull a lot. Where a new circuit needs to travel a long way to a garage studio or an upstairs room, we plan the route to avoid visible conduit. Ceiling fans are a good fit for tall Federation and Edwardian rooms, where the downrod can hang low enough to move air properly. We fit them to a rated mounting point and wire a wall control. Heritage-listed ceilings are checked before we drill.
