Working from home exposed how patchy Wi-Fi is in older houses. We do data cabling and mount TVs in Ashwood homes and townhouses, with solid wired connections.

A wired connection is faster and more reliable than Wi-Fi through brick walls, and it matters most for people who work from home. In many Ashwood houses, the modem sits near the front door and the office is at the back. We run network cable above the ceiling or below the floor to data points in the study, the lounge and anywhere else you need a solid connection. A TV wall mount is the second part: we fix the bracket to a stud or masonry, put a recessed outlet and a data point behind the screen and leave the cabling out of sight. If your antenna reception drops out, we can check the antenna and the TV points in the house. Townhouses with multiple floors take a little more planning for cable routes, and we will talk you through what is possible.
