Adding a split system is straightforward when the electrics are ready. Your installer fits the units. We run a circuit of its own from the board, install an isolator near the outdoor unit and make the final connection. The part people miss is capacity: the small original boards many Ashwood homes have may need attention before a cooling circuit can be added. We look at that first, because it is simpler to do it together than to come back later. A ceiling fan is a smaller job but still requires a fan-rated mounting and a suitable wall control.
