Walls may be fire-rated, so we use approved penetrations and seals. For TV mounting, we work out where the power and data should land before the screen goes up, so there is nothing visible beneath it. In townhouses we can often pull cable through the roof or garage. If you are setting up a home office, a wired desk point is the best upgrade you can make.
