Split system installation in Box Hill often needs a better circuit than the unit or house originally had. We do the electrical side: the dedicated circuit, isolator and connection.
Box Hill 3128
A split system is the easy part. Getting power to it is where Box Hill's older homes struggle, since original boards were never sized for a big compressor. We check capacity first, then run a dedicated circuit and fit an isolator near the outdoor unit. In 1960s and 70s units, placement of the outdoor unit may be limited by balconies, common property or owners corporation rules, so we help work out where the cable can go. Townhouses are usually easier, as the wiring is newer and there is often a clear route. Ceiling fans are a good partner for the system, and we can fit them on a suitable ceiling with proper fixings. The refrigerant work and unit mounting belong to the A/C installer. We make sure the wiring is ready before they arrive.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Box Hill.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Steve and Jason did an excellent job from start to finish. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and explained everything clearly along the way. Their workmanship was top-notch and they made sure everything was safe, neat, and tidy before leaving. Both of them were friendly, professional, and easy to deal with, which made the whole experience stress-free.”

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Maybe not. Small post-war boards often have no spare way for a large new circuit. We open the board, look at the load and tell you whether a dedicated circuit fits, or whether a board upgrade should come first.
