Townhouses here are often built over two or three levels with the router in one corner, and the wifi signal rarely makes it to the top floor. Running cable between floors and adding data points fixes that for good. In the original post-war houses, plasterboard walls over timber frames give us good options for hiding cable, though older houses may have brick veneer or double brick that changes the route. We plan before cutting, so you know where each outlet will land. For a TV, we mount the bracket into framing or use the right masonry fixings, and recess the power and aerial cables behind it for a clean finish.
