Powerpoint installation
in Box Hill.

Small apartments near the station tend to be wired for the layout the developer drew, not the one you ended up with. The desk goes under the window, the TV ends up on the wrong wall, and the bedside table has nothing near it. We can add a double powerpoint or a USB-C outlet exactly where the furniture lives. In an apartment, that starts with a conversation: owners corporation rules, building manager access and sometimes a booking for the lift. Walls and ceilings can be fire-rated, so we use approved methods and avoid weakening them. In the older brick houses and 1960s and 70s units further out, the usual limit is the number of circuits rather than the number of outlets, so we check capacity before we add anything. For student share houses, we keep cable runs neat and fittings tough.

What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Box Hill.
