Old brick veneers were built before anyone had a router, so data usually arrives at one corner and wifi struggles to cross the house. We run Cat6 cable to the rooms that need a solid connection, such as the study, the back bedroom or a granny flat out the back. For small offices and workshops near South Road, we install data points at each desk, back to a neat patch point, and label everything. TV wall mounting follows a similar approach: recessed power and a TV point behind the screen, with cable hidden in the wall cavity. Brick walls need careful drilling, so we check the construction and screen weight first. In roof spaces with little clearance we choose the best path available, and we test every point before we leave.

Usually yes. We can run cable underground in conduit or overhead where suitable, and terminate it at a data point in the shed. We check the distance and route first, since an outbuilding may need a different approach from the house.
