With plenty of brick veneers on wide blocks, Moorabbin suits home EV chargers. We plan EV charger installation around your garage, driveway and switchboard capacity.
Moorabbin 3189
Moorabbin's post-war blocks tend to be generous, with a single garage or carport at the side or back, and a driveway that runs past the house. That is good news for a wall charger. We find the closest sensible spot to where the car sits, then check the cable route back to the board. Often the board is the real constraint. A 1960s switchboard with ceramic fuses cannot safely take a charger circuit, so the upgrade comes first. In units on split blocks, shared driveways mean checking with other owners, and sometimes the owners corporation. Once cleared, we wire a separate circuit with its own breaker, mount a weatherproof charger and talk you through using off-peak charging. Business owners with a work vehicle should tell us the daily use, so we can size the setup properly.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main ev chargers page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Moorabbin.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
If it still has ceramic fuses or no spare capacity, yes, we would recommend it. A charger is a heavy, sustained load. We check the board, explain what we found, and add the upgrade to the job only if it is needed.
