Plenty of homes near Fitzroy Street and the bay have no driveway at all, so the first question is not which charger but where it goes. A house with a rear lane or garage is straightforward: we run a new circuit back to a wall charger and set it up for off-peak charging. A flat with a shared car park is a different job, because the cable crosses common property and the owners corporation has a say. For houses with older boards, we test whether the board can carry the extra load or whether an upgrade comes first. Cables get routed so they are not strewn along heritage facades.
