A tidy kitchen update in a brick home here often ends at the benchtop. The gas cooktop stays because switching seems like a big step. It is not as big as it sounds. We add a dedicated circuit from the board, remove the old cooktop's connection and fit the induction unit into the existing cutout where its size allows. A licensed gasfitter caps the gas. Some original boards are too small to take the extra circuit, so we look at that before agreeing a plan. Many owners decide to upgrade the board in the same visit. If you are building new, we can run the circuit before the kitchen goes in. Induction heats quickly and the glass top wipes clean. Check your pans with a magnet and we will do the rest.
