Oven installation in Balwyn North is a regular job in the cream and red brick homes where the original kitchen has finally been replaced with something modern.
Balwyn North 3104
When a kitchen here gets replaced, the oven is usually the first appliance to move. The old circuit may be right where the old cupboards were, so we reposition the supply to suit the new joinery. Original houses often have a single circuit shared between the oven and other kitchen appliances, which is not ideal. We assess the existing cable, then give the oven its own breaker if the board allows. Wall ovens and freestanding ovens have different connection needs, and we sort these out before the cabinetmaker finishes. Many post-war boards have limited space, so we may recommend a board upgrade while we are there. Once the oven is connected, we test it, confirm that the circuit and breaker are right and show you how to isolate it. We install ovens only, so appliance faults go to the manufacturer.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main ovens page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Balwyn North.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Arrived within 20 minutes of me calling and explaining that half my property's powerpoints were inactive, promptly worked out and explained the issue to me, and had it completely resolved same day. High quality and clean work, could not be happier!”

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Generally the oven should have its own circuit, sized to its rating. Sharing can overload the cable and trip the breaker. If your old setup shares, we recommend separating it. We check the board for space and tell you what is needed.
