Induction cooktop installation

Many Oakleigh homes have had their kitchens redone while the electrical behind them stayed as it was. That matters for induction, which needs a heavy dedicated circuit. A Victorian or Edwardian cottage might still have a fuse board and cable that was never meant for such a load, and we would recommend sorting that out first. Newer apartments near the station tend to have the capacity, so the work is a neat swap. Before we start, we check the bench cut-out, the space for ventilation underneath and where the circuit will run. We also coordinate with the gasfitter if you are removing the gas supply. Commercial kitchens are a different matter, as they need larger equipment, but we are happy to look at small cafe set-ups. We install and connect, but we do not repair cooktops.
