Faults in a post-war Highett house usually involve ageing fittings and original cable. In a townhouse group or apartment block, they tend to sit in shared areas: stairwell lights that flicker, car park sensors that fail, a garage door circuit that trips. We cover both. Our fault-finding is methodical. We isolate the circuit, test it, and trace the problem to its source, then tell you what we found in plain language. For body corporate work, we give managers a written summary of what failed and what we did, which makes committee approvals easier. Because the suburb spans Bayside and Kingston, building rules and requirements can differ slightly, so we ask about the building when we book. If a small repair reveals something worse, we show you and you choose what happens next.
