Townhouse infill and new apartments near the station have changed Highett a lot, alongside its original post-war homes. Steve and Jason do plenty of fit-out and upgrade work across both.
Highett homes
Highett was mostly post-war brick veneer and weatherboard homes, and many still stand. Over time, a large share of blocks have been split into units and townhouses, and newer apartment buildings have gone up near the station and along the main roads. That gives us a real mix of work. Older homes need more powerpoints and safer switchboards. Townhouses often need better lighting and power in places the builder did not think of. Apartment owners usually want small, tidy upgrades like downlights or extra outlets, and sometimes EV charging in the shared car park, which needs owners corporation approval. Either way, we plan the job around the building you are in.

“Steven provided a good and accurate quote over the phone and the job came in on price. Contacted about arrival time the night before and showed up when expected. The outdoor power point was installed within 20 minutes and the job was finished and cleaned well. Nice to deal with and enjoyed our dog coming by to check out what was going on.”

Powerpoints
“Steve and Jason installed several new downlights and powerpoints in my apartment, as well as installing a bathroom fan and doing a general switchboard check. The work was done very fast and to high quality. Steve had great ideas on how to improve the lighting and ventilation in my apartment in a cost effective manner. Steve's input really improved the look of my bathroom in particular, it almost looks like a new room!”

It is possible, but it needs owners corporation approval because the car park is common property. We check where your car space is, how power could get there and whether the building's supply has spare capacity. We can put that in writing for your committee, then install the charger once approval is given.
