Rental turnovers and kitchen refreshes are the usual reasons for a new oven here. A like-for-like swap sounds simple, but the old wiring behind the stove can be a surprise. In the older flats, the cable and breaker were sized for a smaller appliance, and some houses have an oven point with no safety switch at all. We inspect it, replace what is inadequate and connect the new oven with the right protection. We check the cabinet cutout before we arrive, so a wall oven slides in as it should. We only install ovens, not repair them, and we are happy to refer you if the old one is the problem. For landlords, we leave a simple record of the work for your files. Tenants get a short explanation of the isolating switch and what to do if it trips.
