Modernising dated lighting is one of the most common jobs in Glen Huntly's apartments. We install LED downlights and lighting that lifts older flats without a full renovation.

Many 1960s and 70s flats still have bare batten holders or tired fluorescent tubes in the kitchen and hallway. A good LED upgrade makes them look and feel newer, and it also cuts the power the fittings draw. In newer apartments along Glen Huntly Road, the lighting is often adequate but stark. A dimmer and warmer lamps soften that, without needing new wiring. Concrete ceilings in some flats rule out recessed downlights, so we use surface-mounted LED panels, pendants and wall lights instead. In the Edwardian houses, high ceilings suit pendants or well-placed downlights if the roof space permits. We check access before promising a layout. In a rented unit, we work with the agent so the upgrade suits the property, and we give owners a simple list of what was changed.
