Extra powerpoints in Balwyn work best planned room by room, especially in the large rebuilt homes where distances are long and in the older brick ones where outlets are scarce.
Balwyn 3103
A bungalow from the 1930s and a house built last year both leave owners short on outlets, for opposite reasons. The older one simply has too few. The newer one may have lots, but not where the furniture ended up, and nothing for the garden. We walk through with you and mark positions, thinking about desks, kitchen benches, bedside tables and the places chargers live. A double powerpoint at each spot, with a USB-C outlet where phones and tablets gather, tends to cover it. Large blocks mean outdoor powerpoints on the patio, along the fence for a pool pump or near a shed. Because bigger homes often have several sub-boards, we check which circuit each new outlet joins so none gets overloaded. After installation we test each outlet and its safety switch protection, and leave the walls patched.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main powerpoints page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Balwyn.
Good work. Happy locals.

“Steven provided a good and accurate quote over the phone and the job came in on price. Contacted about arrival time the night before and showed up when expected. The outdoor power point was installed within 20 minutes and the job was finished and cleaned well. Nice to deal with and enjoyed our dog coming by to check out what was going on.”

“Select electrical was recommended by my son. Their quoted price was spot on with no hidden extras. Great job and will use them again”

Before the walls are lined. At that point we can run cable cleanly and add outlets for furniture layouts, outdoor areas and future needs. We usually mark positions on the plans or on site with you, then come back after lining to fit the plates and test each circuit.
