Split system installation in Balwyn is all about circuit capacity. Several units, plus ceiling fans in the rooms that do not need cooling, all draw power, and older boards struggle.
Balwyn 3103
People in Balwyn often want cooling in several rooms, and a few homes add a unit to each bedroom over time. We handle the electrical side: a dedicated circuit for each unit, an isolator near the outdoor unit and a safe connection. The refrigeration work belongs to the air conditioning installer. We coordinate cable runs so the outdoor units sit in practical spots along the side of the house, where wiring is short and tidy. For a rebuilt home, we can run cable before the lining goes up. For an older brick house, we use the roof space where possible. We also check the board before adding load, because an old board with a handful of new units is a recipe for nuisance trips. Ceiling fan installation is also popular in rooms where air conditioning is overkill, and we fit fans with a proper brace and wall control.
What the job involves, warning signs and what's included are on our main a/c & ceiling fans page. For everything else we do locally, see electrician Balwyn.
Good work. Happy locals.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call Steve on 0450 347 495.
Maybe not. Several units add up, and each needs its own circuit. We check the spare capacity and the age of the board first. If it cannot take the extra circuits, we recommend upgrading before the units go in, not after the breakers start tripping.
