Not every older home needs a full rewire. We start by testing what is there. A test of insulation resistance tells us what is sound and what is not. If it is not, we plan a rewire that suits your timeline, whole house at once if you are moving out for a renovation, or in stages if you are not. Brick homes allow clean cable runs through the roof and subfloor. If you are about to demolish for a rebuild, a rewire is unnecessary, and we will tell you so. We also fit a new board, because new wiring behind an old fuse box makes little sense.
